Turnstone Ecology have been involved in project management, survey and assessment for a number of major overseas projects including wind and solar in the UK, Europe, Asia, South America and Africa. We have extensive knowledge of international ecology and legislation and the requirements to secure funding from investors such as EBRD.

We completed the 2015 review of the ecology sections of the IFC EHS Wind Energy Guidelines in relation to both onshore and offshore wind farms as well as providing a review of the Polish Guidelines Concerning Impact Assessment of Wind Power Stations on Birds for the Polish Wind Energy Association.

Our involvement in international infrastructure projects includes; project management and ecological assessment for a transmission line and gas pipieline and surveys and production of ESIA and Bird and Animal Control Management Plans for airports across the world.

Turnstone Ecology Directors have been involved in ecological surveys for a range of tourist developments on Sir Bani Yas island off the coast of the Abu Dhabi Emirate, UAE and a proposed offshore commercial and residential development in Monaco.
